  • Heraeus Platinum Pt100, Pt500 & Pt1000 RTD Sensor Elements

    Heraeus Nexensos are world-leaders in platinum thin film technology and their range of platinum sensors offer some of the smallest RTD elements available.

    Conforming to DIN EN 60751 (IEC 751), they are laser-trimmed for high accuracy and sealed in glass to ensure complete life-time integrity.

  • C - Cryo

    The C series thin-film PRTDs combine the ideal curve characteristics of ceramic wire-wound RTDs with the vibration resistance of glass wire-wound RTDs and represent an excellent alternative to wire-wound RTDs.

    • Temperature Range from -196°C to +500°C
    • Temperature Coefficient typically 3850 ppm
    • Best for Cryogenic applications
    • Range of sizes and temperature ranges available
  • L - Low

    L-series platinum temperature sensors are characterised by long-term stability, excellent precision over a wide temperature range and compatibility.

    • Temperature Range from -50°C to +400°C
    • Temperature Coefficient (TC) typically 3850 ppm
    • Constructed with highly-solderable AgPd lead wires.
  • M - Medium

    M-series platinum temperature sensors are characterised by long-term stability, excellent precision over a wide temperature range and compatibility, making them the best choice for most applications.

    • Temperature Coefficient typically 3850 ppm
    • Temperature Range from -70°C to +500°C
  • MR - Medium Round

    MR platinum temperature sensors are characterised by their small, round design, long-term stability, excellent precision over a wide temperature range and compatibility.

  • H - High

    H-series platinum sensors are characterised by long-term stability, excellent precision and compatibility.

  • M540S Micro-heater

    Platinum micro-heaters are characterised by their long-term stability and excellent precision over a wide temperature range.  These miniature heating elements allow gases, solids or liquids to be heated with high precision and a short reaction time.

    • Temperature Range from -25°C to +850°C

  • Heraeus SMD Platinum Elements

    Surface mount RTD Elements designed for automated p.c.b. mounting in high-volume applications.  Three sizes 0603, 0805 and 1206 are available together with AEC-Q200 automotive qualified versions.

    • Temperature Range from -50°C to +130°C
    • Temperature Coefficient (Tc) typically 3850ppm
  • Heraeus Sinterable Temperature Sensor

    The topside metallisation is developed for Al-thick wire bonding and the backside is designed for silver sinter processes with and without pressure, whilst both sides are electrically isolated such that no additional structuring is needed for direct sintering.

    • Temperature coefficient (TC): 3850 ppm/K
    • Temperature range from -50 °C over +200 °C

     

  • Heraeus SOT / TO Sensors

    Characterised by a standardised signal according to DIN EN 60751, interchangeability, excellent long time stability and accuracy.

    • Temperature Coefficient (TC) typically 3850 ppm
    • Temperature Range from -50°C to +150°C
  • Heraeus PCB Platinum Sensors

    The temperature sensor in an SMD model forms the measurement active element on a PCB. The chip is connected with terminal faces either with a thin conductive path or via meandering circuit board conductors in order to reduce heat dissipation and to prevent corruption of the measuring results.

    • Temperature Coefficient typically 3850 ppm
    • Temperature Range from -40°C to +150°C
