YAGEO Nexensos EC Series IP69H RTD Temperature Sensors
YAGEO Nexensos IP69H rated EC Series RTD temperature sensors were originally designed for high-end industrial electric motors but are ideal for e-vehicle motor applications and charging applications. Their small size help them to be neatly incorporated between the adjacent windings of the motor stator or attached to the surface of a hairpin winding.
EC sensors consist of Pt1000B (or Pt100B) elements sealed within a kynar tube and fitted with 24AWG or 30AWG PTFE lead-wires. EC sensors are back-sealed to create IP69H rated sensors that are impervious to fluids such as varnish and other insulating media. They can be used continuously from -50°C to +200°C or even 260°C.
As well as e-motor applications, EC sensors’ small neat format means they can be used in the confines of rapid-charging plugs, between adjacent cells in battery packs/modules and other high temperature applications where ultra-reliable sensors are required.
EC Series sensors are now qualified to IATF 16949 standards.
