Semitec’s ET Series miniature epoxy-bead NTC thermistors offer engineers a compact, reliable and cost-effective way to measure temperature accurately in space-constrained applications.
With a bead head measuring less than 1.6 mm diameter and response times of < 3 seconds in air, the ET Series helps engineers achieve fast temperature detection without compromising valuable design space.
The range is designed to support consistent, dependable performance where accuracy, tight resistance and B-value tolerances, and low electrical noise are critical.
This makes the series well suited to applications including electronic room thermostats, boiler controls, battery packs, heat detectors, clinical thermometers and miniature temperature probes.
Designed to Simplify Assembly
ET-1 and ET-2 NTCs feature rigid leads which support straightforward positioning and reliable installation, with lead lengths available up to 87mm and a choice of insulation lengths to suit different product designs.
Where flexibility or enhanced environmental protection is required, the SemitecET-3H Series uses polyurethane -insulated wires to help create a moisture-proof NTC thermistor. The tough, flexible insulation allows the NTCs to be bent and placed directly into the optimum position, reducing the need for additional insulation and helping save time and cost during assembly.
Additionally, this construction also supports low-noise performance, making it a strong choice for cleanroom environments and other sensitive applications where signal quality matters.
Resistance values from 2.1kΩ to 232kΩ are readily available, including the widely popular 10kΩ/B3435K option, giving engineers flexibility across a broad range of temperature-sensing requirements.
