Very Fast Response Temperature Sensors

ATC Semitec have recently launched some very fast responding immersion temperature sensors (Tc<1s)  ideal for use in gas boilers, electric heaters and specifically within district heating systems where slower sensors are limiting system performance.

These sensors have an NTC thermistor located in the very end of the thin wall stainless steel tip that helps to minimise response times, whilst coping with the higher pressures seen in these systems. They are rated for use from -40°C to 150°C.

A variety of resistance values, connector types and mounting systems (screw and push-fit) are available to simplify integration into your heating system
